Clowns and a safari!

Wednesday was a full day! After lunch, they got to hang out one last time during afternoon activity time where many took part swimming, canoeing, decorating candle holders and canteen. The cabins then split up into their groups to take part in the bible study for the day, 'Reflecting God's Heart'. The kids got to explore what God's love for them looks like, what characteristics it has and how much He loves them! They then got to think about their own lives and how they can share and live out God's love with those around them! These kiddos have a lot of love to give!! :)

After dinner, the skies cleared up and the camp took part in a unique worship opportunity that is a long-standing tradition at camp...Clown Worship! During this worship the message is given by clowns. They don't talk so the kids got to see the Word in a new way, through actions. The campers were very interactive and tuned in and insightful as to what they saw. After worship they got to play an all camp game of Safari!! This is a camp favorite as they are all on a safari and trying to find staff members that are animals around camp and get their signature! They had a great time finding the slow moving sloth, trying to catch the cheetah's tail, see the jellyfish in the lake, all while trying not to get hit by the snake's flying socks!!

Our day ended with a great campfire, the last girl cabins making smores and an evening devotion led by their counselors. It was a great mid-week day!!
